The List

FOUR MONTHS! I can't believe it is four months until I turn 18 and leave for my freshmen year college. Crazy right? And I have so much to do before I leave. So here is the "Hit List", my summer bucket list:
  • Go to Beach Week 2012: every summer the week after graduation everyone heads down to the Outer Banks for a week at the beach.
  • Go to Warped Tour: I've always wanted to go, but never been able to!
  • Go watch East Coast Surfing Championships
  • Spend a day in Virginia Beach
  • Stay out all night
  • Spend a day at the Cottage: my best friend, Bree has a little beach cottage on the York River that is perfect for relaxing
  • Pull an all-nighter
  • Read a book on the beach
  • Paint Pottery
  • Go to Busch Gardens: the amusement park near my house
  • Go to Water Country: the water park near my house
  • Make crayon art
  • Have a book club with some friends
  • Bake a fancy cake
  • Write
  • Make bubble art
  • Make paint chip art
  • Host a dinner party
  • Eat a meal in as many different states as possible: it has to be a real meal, not just a quick meal that I eat as I travel through the state.
  • Go fishing
  • Go neon bowling
  • Spend a whole day outside
  • Spend a day without phone, Ipod, laptop, or other technology
  • Go to a concert
  • Go on a shopping spree
  • Go to the Busch concerts: a couple of big name bands are coming to play at Busch Gardens this summer
  • Road Trip with the girls!
  • Volunteer at Camp Baker: this is a camp for kids with special needs in Richmond, VA, about 1.5 hours from my house.
  • Learn self-defense
  • Dance in the rain
  • Absentee voter registration
  • Camp out in a backyard
  • Teach myself 3 new hairstyles
  • Go to Maymont Park and carve my name in the big tree
  • Go to a farmer's market/ open-air market
  • Get kicked out of a public place
  • Teach Michael (my brother) how to cook
  • Blog
And this may only be the beginning! I feel like every other day I find something else to add to my list. Now its time to get it all done!
